Safety and support
Updated 3 November 2026
Twosday is a private space for two people in a relationship. This page is for anyone who has been hurt or worried by something on it, and for young people and parents. It says how to tell us, and who else can help.
If anyone is in danger right now, call 999 in the UK or 911 in the US.
On this page: How to tell us · If you’re under 18 · If someone shared an intimate image of you · If your partner controls, threatens or bullies you · If you’re struggling · For parents and carers · What happens when you report
How to tell us
- 1. Tap ••• on what upset youIt’s on a memory, a Thing To Discuss or a line in a conversation. You can also go to Settings, then Report a concern.
- 2. Say what’s wrongPick what it is, and tell us what happened in your own words.
- 3. We look at itWithin a day or two for the most serious things, and within 3 days for everything else. If it breaks our rules, we take it down.
You don’t need to sign in: you can also use our report form. We never tell anyone who reported something.
If you’re under 18
Twosday is for adults. But if you’re using it, you’re not in trouble. If something on it upset you or made you feel unsafe, you can tell us, and you can talk to someone who can help.
Talk to someone:
- Childline (UK): for anyone under 19. Call 0800 1111, free, any time, or chat online.

If someone shared an intimate image of you
It’s not your fault. In the UK and the US, sharing someone’s intimate image without their consent can be a crime, and so can threatening to.
- Tell us. In the app, tap ••• on it and choose Report, then “An intimate image shared without consent”. Or use the report form. You can report for yourself, or for the person in the image. We review these within 24 hours, and take the image down with any copy of it we find.
- Don’t send us the image. Tell us where it is and what it shows, and we’ll find it.
- Revenge Porn Helpline (UK): for adults. Call 0345 6000 459, weekdays 10am to 4pm.
- StopNCII.org: for adults, helps stop your intimate images being shared online, without them leaving your phone.

If your partner controls, threatens or bullies you
Checking your phone, deciding who you can see, putting you down, threatening you, or making you scared to say no: none of it is OK, and it’s not your fault. In the UK, controlling or coercive behaviour in a relationship can be a crime.
- Tell us about anything your partner shares in Twosday that hurts or scares you: tap ••• on it and choose Report.
- You can leave the shared space at any time: on your Profile, tap You & your partner’s name, then Leave relationship. Your partner can’t pair with you again unless you give them a new code.
- Your private space stays private. Your partner never sees what you write to Twosday on your own, unless you choose to share it.

For parents and carers
Twosday is for adults. We don’t check ages, so a young person could still sign up. Our terms forbid, for everyone, pornography and content that encourages suicide, self-harm or an eating disorder, and bullying, and we take it down when we find it. Nothing on Twosday is public: each person shares only with the one partner they paired with, using a code one of them gave the other.
- If your child uses Twosday, talk with them about who they’re paired with, and how it feels. They can leave the shared space at any time.
- You can report something without an account, on our report form. Tell us the account’s name or email address, and what worries you.
- If you think a child is being groomed or sexually abused:
- CEOP (UK): report the sexual abuse or grooming of a child online to the police.
- NSPCC Helpline (UK): for adults worried about a child. Call 0808 800 5000, weekdays 10am to 4pm.
- NCMEC CyberTipline (US): report the sexual exploitation of a child online, or call 1-800-843-5678.

What happens when you report
- You can report from the app (tap ••• on what you saw, or Settings, then Report a concern), on our report form, or by emailing support@twosday.app.
- We tell you straight away what happens next and by when, and, if you’d like, we email you what we decide. You can stop those emails at any time.
- We review it within 24 hours for an intimate image, within 48 hours for anything illegal or anything encouraging suicide or self-harm, and within 3 days for anything else against our terms. If it breaks the law or our terms, we take it down and may suspend the account.
- We never tell anyone who reported it. But if we take something down, the person who shared it may notice.
- You can appeal a decision, about your report or about something of yours we took down, on the same form, within six months. We look again within 7 days, and put things back if we got it wrong.
- The details are in our Terms of Use. If you’re in the UK and we haven’t dealt with your complaint, you can tell Ofcom.
