Effective date: 3 November 2026
These terms govern your use of Twosday ("the app"), provided by Twosday App Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17540701, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX) ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
How we keep Twosday safe, and how anyone can report something, complain or appeal, is in Safety, Reports and Complaints below. That section is for everyone, whether or not you use Twosday.
Twosday is a relationship journaling app that uses AI to help couples reflect individually and communicate together. It is designed for proactive relationship care.
Twosday is not therapy. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, couples counseling, or crisis intervention. The AI facilitator is not a licensed therapist. If you or your partner are in crisis, please contact a mental health professional or crisis helpline, or see our Safety and support page.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Twosday. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
These rules apply to everyone who uses Twosday, whatever their age. You agree not to share, in anything you write, say, record or upload:
You also agree not to:
If something breaks these rules, we take it down and may suspend your account, as Safety, Reports and Complaints describes. The same applies to anything Twosday’s AI says in your conversations together.
Your use of Twosday is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
The AI facilitator and private agent generate responses based on your input and relationship context. These responses are:
You keep ownership of the content you create or add in Twosday: what you write, and your photos and voice memos. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it only to run Twosday for you: to show it to you, to share what you choose to share with your partner, and to have our service providers, listed in the Privacy Policy, process it on our behalf.
If you say yes to Model improvement, you also give us permission to use what you write, with your name and the details that identify you taken out, to train and research the AI behind Twosday. A conversation you have with your partner is used only if you both said yes. You can turn it off at any time in Settings, and nothing you write is used from then on.
What you share with your partner, such as Memories and your conversations together, stays available to them as the Privacy Policy describes, including after your relationship ends.
We keep ownership of the app, its design, and its code. AI-generated content (summaries, context documents, facilitator responses) is provided as part of the service.
This section explains how we deal with illegal and harmful content on Twosday, how we protect children, and how anyone can report something, complain or appeal, as the UK’s Online Safety Act requires. You don’t need a Twosday account to use any of it.
Nothing on Twosday is public. You share only with the one partner you paired with, using a code one of you gave the other. There is no feed, no search and no way to find or message strangers. What you write on your own, in your private space, is never shared with anyone.
We never tell anyone who reported something, or what they wrote, and only Twosday reads a report. But in a space only two people share, if we take something down, the person who shared it may notice and guess it was reported. If someone appeals our decision, we tell them what we decided and why, never who reported it.
We tell you straight away that we’ve got your report, what can happen and by when, and whether we’ll tell you the outcome. If you give an email address and don’t opt out, we email you what we decided and anything we did; you can stop those emails at any time, from a link in each one. Our aim is to review:
If what you reported breaks the law or these terms, we take it down wherever it’s shown, including in the archive a past relationship keeps, and we may suspend the account that shared it. Taking something down removes it for everyone who could see it. If it doesn’t break the law or these terms, we leave it up and tell you why. We consider your freedom of expression and your privacy, and your partner’s, when we decide.
We don’t use proactive technology, such as automated scanning or hash matching, to look for content. We act on reports, and on anything else that tells us content may be illegal. Twosday’s AI may pause a conversation if what’s said suggests someone is at risk, and point to support; it doesn’t report or remove anything. When we have reason to think something may be illegal, we review it and, if it is, we take it down swiftly:
If an intimate image of you has been shared on Twosday without your consent, or you’re reporting for the person in it, use the intimate image report, in the app or on the report form. The law asks you to declare who you are reporting for, that it’s an intimate image, and that your report is made in good faith and true to the best of your knowledge and belief, and to give us enough detail to find it and a way to reach you. We then take the image down, with any copy of it we find, as soon as we reasonably can and no later than 48 hours after your report, unless we conclude it isn’t an intimate image, or that the report isn’t from the person in it or someone acting for them. A complaint about how we handled your report is dealt with within 48 hours.
Twosday is for adults, but we don’t check ages, so we treat it as a service children could use. Instead of age checks, these rules apply to everyone:
The same rules apply to what Twosday’s AI says in your conversations together, and anything it says can be reported and taken down. Our Safety and support page has help for young people, for anyone affected, and for parents and carers.
You can complain to us, in the app, on the report form or by email, about:
Our director is responsible for these duties and handles complaints. We reply within the times above.
If we took something of yours down, suspended your account, or decided not to act on your report, and you think we got it wrong, you can appeal within six months of our decision, on the report form (choose “Appeal a decision we made”) or by replying to our email. If your account is suspended, you can still use the form or email us. We look at the decision again within 7 days. If we got it wrong, we put back what we took down, or lift the suspension, as far as we can. We tell you what we decided and why.
If you’re in the UK and you’re not happy with how we handled a complaint, you can also tell Ofcom, which regulates online safety.
We may take down content that breaks these terms or the law, and suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, as Safety, Reports and Complaints describes; you can appeal. You may terminate your account at any time via the Delete Account option in Settings.
Twosday is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to relationship outcomes, emotional distress, or reliance on AI-generated content.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
